Kelly Courtyard
Patrons walking on Main Street in Downtown Mooresville frequently wander into Kelly Courtyard attracted to the beautiful tiered fountain and display of perfectly landscaped shrubs, plants and flowers. Courtyard seating is available for guests to enjoy the relaxing scenery.
Alice’s Garden
Alice’s Garden can be found in the inner courtyard of the building. This hidden garden is the largest of the two outdoor spaces offering two water features, a large bed with an array of trees, shrubs, plants and flowers and a covered seating area.
Both courtyard areas can be booked for an event or to take a stroll, lounge in the garden, take a photo, bring your lunch and sit, relax and enjoy the scenery.
Joe V. Knox Auditorium
This vintage theatre was named for long-time mayor Joe. V. Knox. The interior includes 233 seats, a 36 ft. stage, dressing rooms, green room, light and sound booth. “There’s not a bad seat in the house” is a phrase frequently heard when patrons describe the theatre. The Joe V. Knox Auditorium is the home of the Mooresville Community Children’s Theatre, hosting a variety of performances by the organization each year.
